Attendance Against Timesheet: The Mismatches
Days where somebody posted more hours to the timesheet than they were actually present for. Two independent records of the same day, compared — and the only report in the product that can catch a timesheet written from memory rather than from the work.
Days Where Attendance Is Complete
Present for at least the office hours, in and out both marked. The baseline every other status is measured against.
Short Attendance
Present, but for less than the office timings. Distinguished from absence, because a short day and a missing day are different conversations.
Attendance Record Missing
Neither in nor out marked, and no leave applied for. The days that would otherwise disappear.
In-Time Or Out-Time Missing
One of the two marked and not the other — usually somebody who forgot to punch out, which is why it is counted separately from a wholly missing day.
Marked, But Duration Cannot Be Calculated
Attendance exists but there is no out entry to measure against, so no duration can be derived. Shown as its own figure rather than silently counted as zero hours.
Leave Or Not Required To Mark
Days excluded by design: approved leave, non-working days, holidays and blocked dates. Nobody is chased for a day the office was shut.
Total Hours Present
Each person's total attendance duration for the month, in hours — the figure the app's own notes say is used for salary calculation.
Total Days Present
The same total expressed in days, which is what a payroll run actually consumes.
Day-Wise Attendance Grid
Every day of the month down the side, every member of staff across, each cell carrying that day's status. A month of the whole office on one screen.

Actions you can take from this screen4 actions
View staff-wise or date-wise
Staff-wise answers “how was this person's month”; day-wise answers “who was in on the 14th”. Same data, and firms need both — one for review, one for the question somebody asks in a meeting.
Summary and detailed view
A summary table of every status per person, with a detailed breakdown behind it, so a figure that looks wrong can be opened rather than queried.
Save the group of people you always look at
Saved user selections, so a partner reviewing the same eleven staff every month does not rebuild the list each time.
Export to Excel
The month out to a spreadsheet — which is how it reaches payroll, whatever payroll happens to run on.
